Meet the gallerist of The Island Arts Gallery, Danielle Higgs. She started this dream during her forth year of college, and after graduating with her BFA from Ringling College of Art and Design she journeyed into phase one of her plan, soaking up all she can from her surrounds. She was blessed to obtain a temporary position at The State of The Arts Gallery in Sarasota, Florida. Using what she learned within that position and the jobs she secured during her time in college (Gallery Director), she is now on the next phase of her dreams. Making her and her galleries name known and not just in her own country but worldwide.

This Journey that she's embarking on is about uplifting people who look like her, uplifting artists, spreading the Gospel, and encouraging not just the youth but anyone whose talent might have been dimmed by the hustle and bustle of the daily life.
